The springs integrated into Cambion’s contact sockets play a pivotal role in ensuring a reliable electrical connection. They effectively compensate for manufacturing tolerances in mating pins, thereby maintaining consistent contact quality—even with frequent mating cycles. As standard, the contact surfaces feature high-quality gold plating or electrolytic tin plating, ensuring both excellent electrical conductivity and optimal corrosion protection. Our contact sockets are designed for mating pins with diameters ranging from 0.36 mm to 2.36 mm. The most common diameters in practical applications are 1.0 mm, 1.5 mm, and 2.0 mm; these variants cover a wide range of standard applications in industrial electronics, measurement technology, and automation.
