Display buttons

Display buttons improve the user interface design by their methods of visualisation and thus simplify operating conventional pushbuttons. They combine the simple and reliable technology of pushbuttons with the ability to display images. Modern display buttons have small OLED or LCD panels on which different information can be seen. In addition to a simple text display, these models have the option of displaying programmed image and video sequences. This enables the user to be informed about complex instructions or settings at any time.

Due to their visualising abilities, display buttons are used, for example, in media technology and within the broadcasting industry. Military applications, aerospace, rail transport, the manufacturing and construction industry as well as the medical technology also benefit from working with display buttons.

Furthermore, display buttons are capable of performing several different functions, which can be switched if required. It is also possible to add, remove or update functions without having to remove the display button itself.
