Mini joysticks

The term mini joystick covers all the smallest versions of joysticks. The space-saving operating elements are used in industrial applications. They are used to control machines or vehicles in remote controls or portable consoles. The mini joystick is also used for auxiliary functions, for example to ensure greater mobility for people with disabilities or in need of care, or to support their communication skills. For example, the miniature versions of joysticks are used in the armrests of wheelchairs or to operate computers.

The thumb joystick is a frequently encountered variant among the miniature versions. In consumer electronics, these are mainly known in the form of analog sticks in gaming controllers. Similar installations can also be found in the above-mentioned areas of industry or care as well as in other areas of application.
