Like the regular-sized toggle switch, the miniature toggle switch is used to open and close circuits. Visually, it differs from a normal toggle switch in its more compact design. A miniature toggle switch also has a smaller drilling diameter of approximately ten to twelve millimetres. In addition to its smaller size, a well-built miniature toggle switch also benefits from its robust design, which allows it to be used in many different applications. For example, several miniature toggle switches can be mounted on one switch board.
Furthermore, the miniature toggle switch can be manufactured in a multipolar configuration, just like a regular one. This feature further expands its field of application.
